In the mean time, I have discovered a way to rip songs off of You Tube and turn them into an mp3 file that you can then just plop onto your iPhone can carry around in your pocket.
Of course the very first thing I did was nab the totally freaking amazing thing that Fyfe Dangerfield (swoon) did with Anne Litt a couple years ago. I would have paid KCRW $1153 dollars just to carry these 3:38 seconds of loveliness around in my pocket, but now I have it for free. Oh wait, I already give KCRW $1153 dollars a year. Anyway, you should just stop doing what you are doing right now and go listen to THIS. Swoon!
Next came this wacko and very brilliant mash up of the Ting Tings, the B52’s, The Knack, Toni Basil, Plastic Bertrand, and god only knows what else. CLICK HERE! Yes I really did fall down and wet my pants when I first heard this. Just brilliant.
