Well, I have done it....accepted a job in..... horror of all horrors....Bellevue! Screams are heard, crickets are chirping, somewhere a kitten cries....
It has been 25 years since I worked "over there". I still have scars. Ever since then I have firmly stood by my position that if god wanted people to live on that side of the lake there would not be a lake there.
What the hell have I done? Gotten myself a big promotion, more money, something new and challenging, and away from a bunch of messed up old white men who hate anything not like them? Why yes, that is exactly what I have done.
Yay for me!
But still....Bellevue? God, I really don't like leaving the 206 area code unless I am on an airplane. 425....Good lord!
