It's over

Finally our 8 year long global nightmare is over. How to describe this?

The worst president in US history.
The most immoral administration ever.
The stupid little man.

For a long time I have been thinking what could have been accomplished by a president who had the levels of support W had after September 11th. Here is what could have been accomplished:

• Ending the metric system
• Banning manual transmission cars
• Eradication of mosquitoes
• Lowering cable rates
• Providing universal health care
• Stopping global warming
• Funding education
• Using stem cell research to save lives
  
• Making all countries drive on the right side of the road

What we got was this:

• Torture
• Spying on Americans
• Invading sovereign countries
• Massive deficit spending
• Global financial collapse
• Drowning polar bears
• Denial of science
• Uncontrolled superstition, Jesus, and flag worship
• And of course the destruction on New Orleans
  

When it became clear that Obama had won Mark and I raised our glasses of Veuve. Then I clicked to this on my computer. It sums up everything I can say about what just happened:
